Ney & Mey Restaurant, located in Yıldız, where is one of the most elite places of the capital city, Ankara, is able to attract people from every age. You can begin your meal with cold and hot appetizers you choose than, you can continue the meal with the delicious grills prepared from red and chicken meats, finally you can finish your meal with various kinds of fruits and desserts. Unfortunately, the restaurant hasn't got a menu, you can choose your meals by the help of the waiters. Moreover here, you are able to enjoy with the “Fasıl” which you could not find in many restaurants, while eating your meal. Fasıl ,which begins at 20:00 o’clock, continues until 01:00 every night. The decoration complementing the meal and the Fasıl is such a beautiful combination of modern and oriental styles in addition to these, in the ground floor of the restaurant there is a bar for small drinks before and after the meal. When the Fasıl is finished, you have a chance to drink alcoholic or non alcoholic beverages with music at the bar in the ground floor. There is no problem in parking, because the restaurant has got its own parking area. The people who are responsible for parking are working until the restaurant is closed. An old Turkish house with three storeys. Its garden is rather large and have trees. Furthermore there is a park for children in the garden. These are all kinds of grilled disk and appetizers. Mydonose has a more interesting entrance than other restaurants because when you pass through a tunnel, you find yourself in a egyptian age by egyptian figures. Those figures means invitation of feast. After passing through the tunnel a hostess welcomes you and show your place. While you are going to your place you are able to see kitchen and preparation of meal. This system is called "Open kitchen". The atmosphere of mydonose is very luxury. Table to ashtrays are all made of metal. This decaration called "high tech" by the owners of the restaurant and has the spirit of the 21. century. Mydonose has a various menu,it includes Turkish cuisine to French cuisine. the staff of kitchen trust themselves at this point. Add to these you can listen live music while you are eating. Mydonose is more expensive than the other restaurants however the place's decoration, staff, meals are attractive and if you want to search a romantic place, mydonose is one of these. Bey Konagi is one of the rare meat restaurant where people can eat distinguished, delicious Southeast meals and kinds of kebap. If you think the dinner as an art, entertainment and a pleasure, you should absolutely see this wonderful ambience. It has a very wealth menu. Especially, Gurbet Tava, Bildircin, Cig Kofte, Ozbek Pilavi and as a dessert Kunefe are recommended. At weekends, there is also violin music which is played by conservatory students during the dinner. The service is very fast and perfect. Servers are best in their job and speak at least one foreign language. The restaurant has an extensive area such as the summer garden has seating for 1500 person and winter saloon has seating for 350 person. Winter saloon is made by special balk which is exported from Finland and it seems like a mountain hut. Moreover, there is a historical konak which is under control of Ministry of Culture, used as a fasil bar. Prices are suitable for people who have high level standarts. Neco is a sea food restaurant with live soft music played with piano and violin except Sunday nights.It is two storey restaurant with two elegant dining rooms and also service is available in the garden in summer season. You can visit Neco everyday of a week. If you decide to go there, I recommend you to go at night in order to enjoy all the night with a proffesional and friendly service (only suggestive selling) in a fascinating ambience. The price you pay for a lovely night in such a qualified restaurant is worthwile. They offer their special desert: Senolina on Brick for free. There is a night club next to Neco which does not have a good reputation. However the presence of the night club would not spoil your night at Neco, because Necessary measures are taken by Neco to help their customer. If you decide to visit Neco, you better make a reservation a head and donnot forget that you will never face with a parking problem when you visit Neco. It is not easy to find Neco; to get there at the beginning of the road to Oran take the first right and then when you take the first left you will see neco in the left. A medium class restaurant with two storeys. Mainly Kebabs from the menu.The special dishes of Urfa and its environment, draw attention in the menu. I suggest you to try special “çiğ köfte” (disk made of ground meat, pounded wheat and red pepper) of Harran Sofrası. They rather use the special pepper that they brought from Urfa in their Kebabs well. The prices are rather attractive when compared with the quality of the dishes. The greatest pleasure that Harran provides, is the kitchen being open to the customers. That is in order to make customer more comfortable, the kitchen is specially decorated. This small space located at the end of Olgunlar Street, just before passing to Bülbülderesi, on the loft, has been giving service to the citizens of Ankara. Fried liver and meat balls are especially worth to taste, in a dinner which has eaten in the accompany of live Turkish music sung in chorus and the close relationship of Hamdi Surman, the owner of the restaurant and his personnel, which has not changed for years, show the difference of this space. In the passed months, upon dense demand, at his 2nd branch opened at Ugur Mumcu Street, it continues the same service quality, but in a more comfortable ambience. |
